15 × 15 · 225 cellsWhat is Ram Shalaka?
Ram Shalaka Prashnavali is a traditional way of seeking guidance through selected chaupais of Goswami Tulsidas’s Shri Ramcharitmanas. Letters from nine sacred lines are woven into a 15×15 grid of 225 syllables. When you choose a letter with a sincere question, it points to one of those chaupais — not as fortune-telling, but as a verse for prayerful reflection.
How to read your answer
01 · The chaupai
Read the full verse first. Its words set the tone — blessing, caution, or surrender.
02 · The episode
See where it appears in the Manas — who speaks, to whom, and in what moment.
03 · Your situation
Hold the verse against your question. What quality is asked of you — patience, good company, courage, or letting go?
A note on faith
Ask with a pure heart and one clear question. Take the answer as Shri Ram’s gentle counsel, then act with wisdom and practical judgment. For timing and chart-based detail, a Prashna or kundali reading remains the astrological path.
Good to know
How many answers are there?
Nine answer lines drawn from eight chaupais across Balkand, Sundarkand, and Lankakand.
Should I ask again if I dislike the answer?
Tradition says receive the first sincere answer with calm. Asking again in agitation usually clouds the mind more than it clarifies.
What kind of questions work best?
Clear questions about direction, timing of action, or whether a path is wholesome — asked with reverence, not as a game.
